During a discussion in the Serengeti mailinlist, the following suggestions for accessibility were put forward:
Saker jag kommer att tänka på direkt med de exempel så tagits upp här är:
- uttag för hörlurar
- högtalare i flera delar av rummet
- långsammare presentationer med inbyggda repetitioner av nyckelbegrepp/-punkter
- användandet av flera kommunikationssätt för en och samma poäng
- propsa på ljudlösa publikreaktioner (handtecken) i den främre delen av salen (inte hela eftersom det blir otillgänligt för personer som inte använder syn)
- pauser i föredragen - med syre-insläpp
I don't have the time to translate it now, but much of it seems sound (and, the punster in me notes with glee, concerns sound...). Some of it is stuff that could be in the accessibility pledge/guidelines for speakers, whereas other things are more to do with hardware/infrastructure.
