Fellowship Conference

The FSFE would like to work the Fellowship into the conference, and engage the fellows in the organisation of the conference.

The most obvious approach here (also suggested by Stian) is to engage the Fellows to propose events and talks for the conference. We could arrange to send out something specific about the conference and the need for speakers when there is a more official call for papers. And we should keep this in mind for the pricing strategy to allow Fellows a reduced rate for the conference as usual. --Jonas 14:06, 5 February 2009 (UTC)

Why open source and free source are very important for the countries which under military junta?

Let me chance to present about it. Then, I will invite comment and discuss for that topic. I hope this result is will be grateful for the countries which under military junta.

Video recordings

Maybe do something together with Bambuser regarding videocasting the presentations?

Unfortunately, Bambuser does only stream Flash video. To ensure that everyone can access the streams, a service that supports Ogg Theora should be used. The best options would be to either use giss.tv like last year or to set up our own icecast server. --Julipan 11:52, 13 May 2009 (UTC)

Youths track? Co-org?

How about trying to organise a Youth Congress or similar, inviting MUF, Grön Ungdom and Ung Pirat to co-organise an afternoon session on copyright, ipred, acta, fra, etc, etc.
