Please make your comments inline below, or add your new ideas to the end of this page.

Conference tracks

Currently: Free Software, Free Society. Any comments on the tracks? Anything more needed? Please help fill in the gap and provide descriptions that you think are suitable for the tracks and their focus.

An idea which occured to me here is to keep the two main themes, Free Software and Free Society, and have a third track specifically for workshops related to the two main tracks. --Jonas 14:06, 5 February 2009 (UTC)

Fellowship Conference

The FSFE would like to work the Fellowship into the conference, and engage the fellows in the organisation of the conference.

The most obvious approach here (also suggested by Stian) is to engage the Fellows to propose events and talks for the conference. We could arrange to send out something specific about the conference and the need for speakers when there is a more official call for papers. And we should keep this in mind for the pricing strategy to allow Fellows a reduced rate for the conference as usual. --Jonas 14:06, 5 February 2009 (UTC)
